Operational Issues

Q:  I have downloaded an article and saved it but now I don't know where it is.  How do I view it?
A:  This solution assumes that you have the Adobe Acrobat Viewer installed in order to view it.  It is required.  You can get a copy of this viewer at http//www.adobe.com by clicking on the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon.

The article is probably stored in a "download directory" somewhere on your computer.

To find your downloaded article, please follow the following steps:

  • Click on the "Start" button on the lower left-hand corner of your computer
  • Slide on to "Find"
  • Click on "Files or Folders"
  • In the "Named" textbox, key in the name of the file you downloaded.  If you did not note this name during the download process, key in an asterick followed by a period followed by the letters "pdf".  Like this *.pdf
  • Click on Find Now

If the article appears in the documents found window, you may click on it.
